Who's Counting?

Back in high school, several of us used to play Spades during lunch. However, we soon became tired of the regular game of Spades and began trying to cheat, just to make things more interesting and challenging. We stacked the deck, dealt off the bottom, palmed cards, peaked at each other's cards, anything that we could do to cheat. In fact, it became a big part of the game. Everyone knew that everyone was cheating, and it made the game more fun as we tried to catch each other cheating while getting away with it ourselves. What can I say? We were teenagers.
My friend, Larry, and I were usually partners when playing Spades. And we won most games, too. By the end of the school year, the other guys we played with wanted to know how we did it. They knew we were cheating, just as they were, and had caught us at it regularly, just as we had caught them. Nevertheless, they could not figure out how we won so often.
Finally, toward the end of the school year, we revealed our secret. After winning a game, I held up my pencil and pointed to the scores. You see, the game required someone to keep score, and most of the guys we played with did not want to be bothered with the extra work. Since I did not mind, I generally wound up as the scorekeeper and it freed them up to concentrate on honing their card shark skills. Actually, it gave me the opportunity to alter the numbers a little here and there and change a few scores just enough over the course of a game to ensure that Larry and I won more than we lost.
Ironically, as teenagers, intent on winning card games, we learned something previously articulated by Joseph Stalin regarding elections. Stalin said, "The people who cast the votes don't decide an election, the people who count the votes do." Or, to put it another way, "It's not the who votes that counts but who counts the votes." Either way, we learned something during our high school card games that the rest of the country is learning today.
That brings us to the current battle over the 2020 presidential election. When the polls closed on the night of November 3 and the first results and projections began to be posted, it appeared that President Trump was poised to win another four years in the White House. However, in the wee hours of Wednesday morning, several states where President Trump was leading inexplicably stooped counting, people were sent home, mysterious boxes of ballots began showing up in the dark of night and unexpected software updates occurred, and, by the following morning, key states where President Trump was winning had flipped to Biden. It seems that those counting the votes were beginning to have a greater effect on the presidential election than those who cast the votes. Concerns became greater as more stories of computer glitches switching Trump votes to Biden votes, postal workers being told to back date late mail-in ballots, and many other suspicious activities were reported in the following days.
In fact, in an appearance on Maria Bartiromo's "Sunday Morning Futures" on Fox News, November 8, Attorney Sidney Powell, a former federal prosecutor, said:
There has been a massive and coordinated effort to steal this election from we the people of the United States of America, to delegitimize and destroy votes for Donald Trump, to manufacture votes for Joe Biden. They have done it in every way imaginable, from having dead people vote in massive numbers, to absolutely, fraudulently creating ballots that exist only voting for Biden. They also used an algorithm to calculate the votes they would need to flip, and they used computers to flip those votes from…Trump to Biden, and from other Republican candidates to their competitors also. We've identified at least 450,000 ballots in the key states that miraculously only have a mark for Joe Biden on them and no other candidate. …They had this all planned, Maria…They had the algorithms. They had the paper ballots waiting to be inserted if and when needed. And notably, President Trump's vote in the blue states went up enormously. That's when they had to stop the vote count. They had to go in and replace votes for Biden and take away Trump votes.
If Sydney Powell is correct, and President Trump loses his reelection bid, then it would appear, unfortunately, that Joseph Stalin was more correct in calling this election than the professional prognosticators. Consequently, as we prayerfully await the results of the 2020 presidential elections, let us remember to pray for those who are counting and recounting the ballots, as well as those checking and rechecking the results. And let us pray for those looking into the voluminous claims of voter fraud and vote manipulation. After all, our elections are supposed to be conducted according to the rule of the law, not the rule of the mob.
Unfortunately, there is more going on with this election than voter fraud and vote manipulation. We must remember that we are in the latter days of an age-old spiritual battle. According to 2 Thessalonians 2:7, the "mystery of iniquity" is working in the world but is being actively hindered or held back by the actions of the Holy Spirit, working through Believers. This why the Bible commands Believers to be salt and light in the world in Matthew 5:13-14. The same chapter of 2 Thessalonians also tells us in verse 6 that the rise of the Son of Perdition, also known as the Antichrist, is being held back in a similar fashion.
Satan, the master manipulator and fraudster behind the Mystery of Iniquity, is working hard to overcome the restraint of the Holy Spirit in order to bring the Antichrist to power and bring the entire world under his sway. The Great Reset, a plan to unite all nations in a digital world economy based on socialistic, not capitalistic, principles, is well under way. International efforts to do away with individual nation states and establish a world government are making headway. World religious leaders are calling for spiritual transformation and unity, doing away with that which divides us while lifting up and uniting around those ideals that unite us. All these are paving the way for the rise of the Antichrist and the establishment of his kingdom.
Hmmm… One world economy. One world government. One world religion. One world leader. Where have we heard that before?
Satan's agents are hard at work trying to counter, marginalize, and silence God's people through any means possible. They are trying to overcome the hindering work of the Holy Spirit in order to bring about their global New World Order with Satan's man, the Son of Perdition, at the helm. Consequently, we find ourselves in the middle of a spiritual war.
The Apostle Paul says in Ephesians 6:10-12:
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Considering that we are in a spiritual battle, wrestling against spiritual wickedness in high places, it is not surprising to see the fraud and manipulation surrounding the 2020 presidential election. After all, the globalist's plans for a one world economy, a one world government, and a one world religion cannot be realized without America. In order to bring America into the New World Order, the globalists must get rid of President Donald J. Trump. His America first, pro-Israel, pro-Christian, pro-life, MAGA agenda does not fit with their plans. Nor do the millions of Trump supporters backing him. President Trump and his supporters constitute a huge obstacle to the New World Order.
Consequently, we should not be surprised at the efforts to steal the 2020 presidential election. It is vital to the globalists to defeat President Trump and replace him with former Vice President Joe Biden. They will stop at nothing to do so. A left leaning Biden presidency, likely followed shortly by an even more leftist Harris presidency, will do what a Hillary Clinton administration was supposed to do (which is partly why the left hates President Trump so much!) and help deliver America into the hands of the globalists.
However, God is still on the throne. Biden has not won the election and neither Trump nor Biden has a single electoral vote yet. But what about those changing electoral vote totals that you keep hearing about? Projected totals. Neither candidate has any actual electoral votes until the Electoral College votes in December. Until then, it is all educated guess work, hopeful conjecture, and endless speculation.
In fact, between now and December 14 when the Electoral College votes are cast, we should keep in mind that God has a plan. The Bible says in Daniel 2:21 that God "removeth kings, and setteth up kings." It also says in Proverbs 16:33, "The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD." And remember, no matter who wins the Electoral College vote, they do not become the next president until 12:00pm, Eastern Standard Time, on January 20, 2021.
If God wants to continue using President Trump and his supporters to hinder the progress of the New World Order, then God will see to it that President Trump is reelected to four more years. Of course, the longer the decision takes, the more Biden and his supporters will be convinced that Joe Biden is the President-Elect. In which case, they will increasingly view President Trump's attempts to expose potential fraud and manipulation as an attempt to rob Biden of his victory. And if the courts should invalidate ballots and overturn results in key states resulting in a Trump win, those filling the streets celebrating Biden's apparent win will melt down into violent rage-filled mobs looting, burning, and destroying everything in sight.
Or, perhaps, we have reached that point on God's prophetic calendar where the United States needs to be brought into the New World Order. Perhaps Joe Biden is just the man for the job. Or Kamala Harris is just the right woman.
Regardless, the restraining work of the Holy Spirit will be removed, and Believers will be caught up into heaven. The United States will eventually be brought into the New World Order. The Antichrist will rise to power. The seven-year Tribulation will begin. Jesus Christ will return as Lord of Lords and King of Kings to establish His Millennial Kingdom on earth and we will return to rule and reign with Him.
Remember, only Believers will have a part in that kingdom. So, if you want to be a there, you need to be sure that you have put your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. If you are not born-again you need to believe that Jesus Christ, as God manifest in the flesh, willingly went to the cross where He suffered and died and shed His blood to pay for your sin. He was buried, and after three days and three nights in the tomb, He arose victorious over death and sin. If you believe that Jesus paid for you sin then you need to know that Romans 10:9-10 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Confess your sin and, by faith, "…call upon the name of the Lord…" and "…be saved" (Romans 10:13) before it is too late. Because, 2 Corinthians 6:2, "(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)" "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13)."
You may think you have plenty of time to decide. However, Proverbs 27:1 says, "Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth." Isaiah 55:6 says, "Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:" because eventually, as Jesus said in John 7:34, "Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come." Then it will be too late.
An no amount of score keeping will change that.
